One with Webplex
Really Getting into Work, Literally
‘Looks like I’ve become one with my website,’ I laughed. Turns out, the annoying image obscuring some of the tiny words on my laptop monitor was a reflection of me caused by the brilliant illumination of late-day sun.
After the laugh, I scooched over a seat for the perfect angle against the blinding light. This was my favorite coffee shop and the sunset was promising, but how are you supposed to build a better online mousetrap with your doppelganger staring back at you? I took a monitor-selfie to honor the moment and a little time to reflect on the massive project delayed momentarily by the extraterrestrial intrusion.
Year of the Webplex
‘Year of the Webplex,’ or YOW for short, might be the best concept I’ve ever created. YOW is an innovative network of websites, tools and apps with over 100 nodes designed or planned for e-commerce development. Yes, ‘year’ is in the project name for a good reason, and more resources are need this year. ‘Webplex’ is a good choice, too. Webplex is the word which best describes the whole enterprise’s concept of operations in a single word.
Year of the Webplex is managed by DotComism and powered by the creative team at 77006.com. Prototypes are coming into production online for YOW’s 16 anchor sites. Each anchor site is supported by a premium dot-com domain name. Follow this link to DotComism for a broader concept overview or read about the status below.
